World’s most expensive soap

What’s the most you would pay for a bar of soap? $5? 10? How about three thousand-eight hundred?

Dollars.

Wow.

worlds-most-expensive-soap-qatar-royalThis six-ounce bar of soap is made with luxurious oils and virgin honey. Oh yeah…it also happens to include real diamonds and pure gold dust. Sadly, only one bar was made by the family-owned Lebanese company, Khan Al-Saboun Bader Hassoun and Sons. It was created as a special gift for the First Lady of Qatar and is appropriately named Qatar Royal Soap. This soap was all the rave when it made an appearance at the Doha World Luxury Expo last year.

Happy candle burning ~

  1. The royal family from Qatar the Al-Thani family is quite interesting on their own. I am not surprised that a Lebanese company gifted the first lady Mozah such an amazing gift! She is quite renowned in the world as a do gooder and for her fashion sense. She even has a web page following her fashion! Although she is the second wife to the former emir, Sheika Mozah is the mother of the current Emir of Qatar.

For me to spend thousands of dollars on soap probably wouldn’t happen. However, if it was gifted to me I wouldn’t turn it down!! I’d probably never use it and keep it preserved and on display!

  2. Who doesn’t love luxury products? But this kind of money for a bar of soap is a bit much. I have seen bath products with ground gemstones/crystals and they sound like fun and are reasonably priced.
