What’s That In My Melter? Mata Hari, Tuscardero’s

One of the many goodies a friend sent to me was a wax melt from Tuscadero’s in the scent Mata Hari. She thought the scent on cold sniff would be too musky for her tastes. I was certainly happy to try! I love the wax melts from Tuscadero’s, so I was anxious to try this particular scent. I really tuscaderos-candles-mata-hari-wax-melt-outenjoyed the scent – not something I would usually purchase for myself, but it was good. It was warm and smooth and sultry. I could definitely pick out the musk scent, so I can see why my friend wouldn’t care for it. But the musk was tamed for me by just enough smooth vanilla and the earthiness of oakmoss. The scent was on the masculine side and was moderately strong. Enough to fill the room it was in, but not beyond. (I used it in my 8′ x 9′ room in my 40W bulb melter.)

Do you like scents with musk in them?

  1. I must admit I shy away from musky scents. But Tuscadero’s has so many scents that it’s super-easy to find multiple pleasing scents for any tastes!
