I recently melted a Yankee Candle Company Green Grass votive in my melter (1.7 ounces of wax in a bulb melter, 40W bulb). It was fantastic! This has to be one of my favorite scents from YC. It was fresh and clean – it smelled like sweet, wet grass. There was a slight perfuminess to this scent that made it so beautiful. I thought the scent was strong enough in the melter that I would enjoy it in candle form, but I have read many comments about the scent not throwing well in a jar candle.
Nothing says summer like the familiar, heady scent of a freshly cut lawn.
Have you tried Green Grass? What are your thoughts?
Happy candle burning ~
