What’s That In My Melter? Green Grass Votive, Yankee Candle Company

I recently melted a Yankee Candle Company Green Grass votive in my melter (1.7 ounces of wax in a bulb melter, 40W bulb). It was fantastic! This has to be one of my yankee-candle-green-grass-votivefavorite scents from YC. It was fresh and clean – it smelled like sweet, wet grass. There was a slight perfuminess to this scent that made it so beautiful. I thought the scent was strong enough in the melter that I would enjoy it in candle form, but I have read many comments about the scent not throwing well in a jar candle.

Nothing says summer like the familiar, heady scent of a freshly cut lawn.

Have you tried Green Grass? What are your thoughts?

Happy candle burning ~

  1. This sounds so nice. I love grassy scents, and I’m not the kind that minds perfumy scents, either. I will have to try this: maybe in the melt, if the candle doesn’t throw well?
