I know I’m a day late and a dollar short getting this review up, but what’s a candleaholic to do? I bought Scaramel Apple from ScentSationals during October as one of their Halloween-themed scents. The packaging label was white, orange and green and the wording was printed on what looked like a tombstone. There was a cobweb in the upper corner. Very cute for a Halloween theme. The wax itself was a deep green, almost forest green. The description on the packaging simply stated “Gooey, gooey goodness!”
The cold sniff was wonderful! It smelled of delicious, juicy apples and caramel…lots of caramel! It was a strong cold sniff and I knew I was going to be in for a treat.
Gooey gooey goodness! The scent of crisp apples dipped in soft caramel.
This scent was absolutely delicious once warmed! I used both 24W electric melters and bulb melters (with 40W bulbs). The scent throw was fantastic! It was a fresh, crisp apple scent with tons of gooey, buttery caramel. I would say for a caramel apple scent, this one was a bit heavier on the caramel side of things. But that was a-ok with me. A scent I would definitely repurchase.
If interested, you can still find this wax melt floating around on eBay or hope for its resurface next season. Maybe you can find some lurking in your local store!
Do you like caramel apple scents?
Happy candle burning ~
