Pumpkin Potion was one of the scents available in the Halloween Collection from ScentSationals. The packaging had the Halloween theme as the others in the collection – a tombstone displaying the scent name with a brief description and cobwebs in the upper left corner. The coloring on this package was orange, to represent the pumpkin. The scent description on the package was: A draught of spicy pumpkin.
The wax melts were light orange in color. The cold sniff wasn’t really that interesting to me – I smelled pumpkin and a little bit of spice. I thought ‘Eh.’ But I knew how much Christina loved this scent (read her review of the ScentSationals Halloween melts on Candlefind.com) and so I forged ahead and plunked the cubes in my melters (24W electric and bulb melters with 40W bulbs).
Enjoy a smooth, creamy swirl of pumpkin and spice on a perfect autumn night.
The scent starting filling the room almost immediately. This was a warm pumpkin scent that was very creamy and smooth. The spices were present but took a backseat to the creamy pumpkin. Mmmm…maybe it was called Pumpkin Potion because the scent was intoxicating. This scent filled a large living area easily, so I’d say the scent strength was fairly strong without being overpowering. I was surprised, but I really did like this one! I would repurchase it again if it makes a return next season.
