Review Summary:

A spicy pumpkin scent.

Pumpkin Cheesecake is one of the large cookie-type melts in my sampler from Truley Yours. I’ve mentioned how I do not particularly care for cheesecake (real or otherwise), so I went into this melt with low expectations.

These are referred to as Mud Pies on the website and are stated to weigh 2 ounces. This wax melt was orange in color and a large, circular grubbied up type melt. It was wrapped individually in a cello bag. truley-yours-pumpkin-cheesecake-wax-melt-candle

Cold sniff was very pumpkin-y and spicy to me. I didn’t smell anything sour (yay!), but I also didn’t smell any creamy vanilla. I broke this mud pie up into pieces and used about 1/3 of it in my bulb melter (with a 40W bulb). This wax melt began putting out scent quickly and filled a medium sized room with pumpkin spice. Mmmmm! I didn’t smell any graham cracker crust and I didn’t detect any creaminess or vanilla notes. Just a good pumpkin spice scent. The scent throw lasted for several hours in my wax melter.

if you like Pumpkin Spice , then give this one a try ! A nice spicy pumpkin with a smooth creamy vanilla touch!

Have you tried Truley Yours wax melts?

Happy candle burning ~

  1. I’m a sucker for grubby tarts! I don’t like cheesecake scents very much. My husband really doesn’t like the scent. If I have one tart in my box every single time he walks by that area he will always say. “Something smells sour” here. Pumpkin pie on the other hand sounds like a winner for all of us!

    • Grubby tarts don’t really appeal to me but I’ll admit that these were pretty cute.
