Review Summary:

Rating Breakdown:

  • Packaging/Presentation: This was the typical scallop wax melt from Yankee Candle. The label showed a few pinecones and some limes that were cut in half. All on a bed of pine needles. The wax color was a dark forest green. 4/5
  • Scent: This was an earthy scent to me - too earthy. It smelled very "dirty" to me. I did get the smell of pine and then the unique addition of tart lime, which made for an unusual scent. Still, it never really sat well with my nose. 1.5/5
  • Scent Throw: The throw was fabulous. It completely filled the room it was in. I could smell it beyond the confines of the room. 4.5/5
  • Longevity: This scent lingered for a loooooong time. 5/5
  • Customer Service (if applicable): No problems with this order from YC. 5/5
  • Overall rating: 4/5

  1. Andrea my first thought upon reading the scent name was “GROSS”. I like earthy scents to a point. But this sounds awful! Thank you for the review and for your bravery in even trying this scent out!! You have saved us all the trouble and money on this one.

    • Haha! I’ll try any scent once. This one gets great reviews on the Yankee Candle website. I guess I’m in the minority.

  2. I love this scent. I called every store that sells Yankee Candles this morning to see who might still have some since I didn’t receive any as a gift. I found a drug store that had three. I bought all three.
