Rating Breakdown:

  • Packaging/Presentation: This was the typical clamshell from ScentSationals. I’m assuming the picture on the front was a shot of the Myrtle Beach. There is a beach chair, towel, umbrella and such sitting on the beach. A beautiful shot of the water.  3.5/5
  • Scent: I hate there is no real scent description for these melts, so you really just have to guess. In this particular one, I smelled grape kool-aid! I’m assuming this was to represent the scent of kudzu that is quite rampant in South Carolina.  3.5/5
  • Scent Throw: The scent throw on this one was good. This scent did fill my large open area well. It was not in-your-face, but it was moderately strong. 4/5
  • Longevity: This melt lasted a long time. I kept it in my melters non-stop for the majority of the day and it did not lose its throw. 4.5/5
  • Customer Service (if applicable): I’ve had a problem with this order that has not yet been resolved, so I’m going to downgrade CS a half star. The order itself arrived very quickly and was packaged well. 4.5/5
  • Overall rating: 4/5

Disclosures: None. I purchased this product myself.

  1. I am a fan of beachy type scents mixed with fruity tones. I think they are quite refreshing and after the holidays I just can’t take any more scents with cinnamon! This one sounds like a winner,

    • I agree, Carolyn. I’m not a seasonal burner, but I’ve been focused on winter/holiday scents for the blog. Time to break away from cinnamon and pine!
