Scents By The Bay carries Coo Candles, or clamshell wax melts. The interesting part is that you order them in packs – sets of three. The three are bundled together and it looks like you can’t order individual scents. Maybe because this product is so new for them. The name Coo Candles drew me in, though, so I ordered a couple of packs.
Lemon Pucker was in my pack that also included Black Cherry and Cucumber Melon. No scent descriptions available, but the scents were pretty self explanatory.
Lemon Pucker had a really cold strong sniff to me. A tart, juicy lemon but no household cleaner type of smell. I LOVE lemon scents, so this was right up my alley. The wax was a bright, cheerful yellow and was very soft. Not crumbly soft, but fairly easily to break apart. They are soy wax.
Once melting, I was blown away by how strong and good this scent was! It was a true, tart lemon but with a touch of sweetness to keep my lips from puckering. NO cleaner type smell, of which I was glad. This is not a bakery scent, but a great fruity scent. The website states these are to last 30-50 hours, but I can’t attest to that. I left mine going on a 24W electric melter for 6 hours before I decided to change out. The scent throw was quite strong during that time.
Do you have a favorite lemon scent? What is it?
