The Bathing Garden has some adorable wax melts with great scent choices. I was glad I was able to purchase a few things with a restock in September. One of the scents I chose was Grinch Cake, and it seemed fitting to pull it out now.
Grinch Cake was a rich red colored clamshell wax melt with red and green beads on top. There was also a sprinkling of white on top, which was reminiscent of snow. Such a pretty wax melt! The cold sniff was intoxicating – a caramel apple scent with some oomph.
Sweet Apples, butter, caramel, cake, vanilla bean, and maple syrup
It wasn’t until I started melting this wax melt that I figured out what the “oomph” was…it was the rich, thick maple syrup. This was like a sweet caramel apple dunked in a layer of maple syrup. But this was far from a sickenly sweet scent – I think the vanilla bean and the yellow cake notes kept this one a bit grounded. It was really a fabulous scent and it had a moderately strong scent throw. I used this wax melt in 24W electric melters and bulb melters (with a 40W bulb).
This was a delicious scent and one I would repurchase again.
Happy candle burning ~
