The melts came in a large, rectangular package of eight individual cubes of light blue wax. The packaging indicates that the total weight is 3.1 ounces. The package label is varying shades of blue, mostly a light blue. There is a laundry basket on the front full of fluffy white towels. The cold sniff on these melts was crisp and clean – not perfumey at all. I was expecting to be bowled over, but the fragrance was a bit more gentle and quite fresh.
The classic scent of line-dried laundry gets a modern twist of sunny citrus. The familiar feeling of clean comfort makes home feel even cozier.
This was a great scent once melting. It was so fresh and clean and did not have a fake detergent-y kind of smell. This scent was light and airy but it filled a large living space easily. It did smell like I had been doing laundry all day! I did not get the citrus notes that were mentioned – at least I was not able to pick them out individually. I notice that I am not able to melt/burn several “laundry” type scents because they become too perfumey or smell too much like a harsh detergent. I really didn’t get that from this scent. It was pleasant enough that I was able to keep it in my melters for several hours throughout the day – I kept getting this burst of freshness whenever I entered the room! I used a 24W electric warmer and the scent throw was fabulous without being overbearing.
Overall, this was a scent I did enjoy and I would purchase these again.
Have you tried the Glade wax melts? What do you think?
