Review Summary:

A fruity punch type scent that fills a room.

I love melts from The Bathing Garden. I was able to make a purchase recently and it included this lovely melt – Bitten. The timeframe was near Halloween, so the decoration and the scent name all made sense for the occasion. This clamshell wax melt was a deep red color with a little sprinkling of glitter. In the very bottom corner was a small tombstone with RIP written on it.

Fresh lime and orange are highlighted by sparkling fizzy notes leading to a blend of berry and cherry.

The cold sniff reminded me of fruit punch…yum! I used this wax melt with both 24W electric melters and with my bulb melters (with 40W bulbs). The burst of scent was wonderful! Fruity and sweet…oh my! I definitely smelled the cherry notes, but it was not the medicinal cherry that I hate. The citrus from the orange and the lime made this scent zing and added that extra punch. It didn’t seem all that fizzy to me, but that really didn’t matter. This scent was just juicy and lovely.the-bathing-garden-bitten-wax-melts-candles

The scent throw was moderately strong in a large, open area. It lasted for hours on end without skipping a beat. Loved this and I would reorder it again if offered.

Are you a fan of The Bathing Garden?

Happy candle burning ~

  1. I have heard excellent things about this company. They are actually on my list of new vendors to try. I’m happy you liked this scent and company. The pretty glitter looks like a nice little extra touch. And there price point seems to be quite fair.

    Thank you for your post!

  2. This is a company I am not familiar with. The little tombstone with RIP is super cute and festive for Halloween.
