I go through spurts of ordering from Yankee Candle Company these days. I picked up Autumn Wreath during one of my recent buying spurts. Autumn Wreath is an orangish brown fluted melt wrapped in the typical shrink wrap paper from YC that I hate. (Are you listening, Yankee???) When I was finally unable to unwrap this melt, I was hit by the scents of fall.
Welcome the season cheerfully with the spicy warmth of autumn leaves and cinnamon apples. Just as wreath hung on the front door signals the change in season, the subtle notes of apple and cinnamon spices tell everyone who visits your home that they are as welcome as the new season. Start a new tradition in your home this fall.
This has the scent of freshly raked leaves with a hint of spiciness on cold sniff. It didn’t take long once on the melter (24W electric) for it to start filling the room with a warm, cozy scent. The outdoorsy-leaves scent was predominant and the cinnamon notes were present, too, but it was not too spicy. The apple scent blended in well without being overpowering as many apple scents can be. This is not a typical “apple cinnamon” scent. It has an additional ‘umph’ element (crushed leaves) that makes it very warm, inviting and cozy. Perfect for company or when entertaining!
The scent throw to me was moderately strong and the tart lasted several hours in my electric warmer. I left this tart in overnight and was still able to enjoy it’s cozy goodness the following morning. Score! A definite reorder scent for me.
