The Scoop on Candlefind – Week of November 4

This week’s review on

Christina reviews a candle from Hidden Treasures:

What a fun review this turned out to be and the best part… my two boys has a blast being part of the whole process!! How?

There was a “hidden treasure” buried in both my candles. These types of candles are all the rage right now and this was my first experience with one. As soon as my kids found out there was a treasure buried inside each candle waiting to be pulled out… they were on them like glue waiting and watching in anticipation. It was fun!

The scents I reviewed were Southern Sunshine and Lavender Vanilla.

  1. A hidden treasure! That sounds like such a fun idea. Nothing makes you a kid again like having a little hunt for a goodies, huh!

  2. Interesting to hear these candles are trendy again. I remember burning these when I was younger and it was fun to see what items would appear as you burned the candle down.

  3. Your so right. Candles with “treasures” are super popular. I love the fragrance Lavender Vanilla and buy it when I can find it. There is also a brand spankin new company called “JIC” Jewelry In Candles. This company as well as Diamond Candles are all very trendy for today. But, they do make a quality product.

  4. I had a Diamond Candle once and it was really fun to burn it down and see what kind of ring I got. My opinion is that you still have to be in it primarily for the candle and the costume jewelry though, as the odds of getting something valuable are not very good. It’s a fun experience.

    • I think I would certainly enjoy the candle first & foremost. I see the jewelry as an added bonus.
