Scent Comparison: Pink Sugar vs. Pink Nilla Sugar from Crosscreek Country Candles

I recently melted the following two scents that are available at Crosscreek Country Candles:

Pink Sugar Type – a combination of Cotton Candy, Vanilla and Caramel with a hint fresh Bergamot and orangy citrus top note, with touches of Berries, Muget, Strawberry, Plum, and Dry Fig Leaves, Musk, Anise, Musk and Woods

Pink Nilla Sugar – luscious pink sugar blended with the famous warm vanilla sugar…the goodness of pink plus warm caramelized vanilla. A Crosscreek custom blend

Both were super delicious. Although I like the PS scent, I don’t necessarily care for it on its own. It’s a bit too sweet and too much for me. The CCCC Pink Sugar was a perfect dupe – the scent was dead on. I preferred the Pink Nilla Sugar scent because it added an element of creaminess and softened the PS notes overall.

The scent throw was stronger with the straight PS vs. PNS, but both were room fillers. Of the two, I certainly preferred the Pink Nilla Sugar scent. If pure Pink Sugar is not to your liking, consider a blend like Pink Nilla Sugar. It may be more up your alley.

Do you like Pink Sugar scents?

Happy candle burning ~

  1. I LOVE Pink Surgar scents! beFragrant has quite a nice one made from 100% kosher soy. Pink scents are always girly to me. I especially like them with a hint of a creamy vanilla. So pretty.
