DIY Project – Ribbon Covered Votive Holders

Look how cute candle lovers and a project you can do yourself. Ribbon covered candle holders.

I love the colorful ribbon they used… so bright and festive but you could essentially use any colors you want from solids to endless and colorful patterns. This DIY project came from Better Homes and Gardens site… unfortunately, they don’t give ribbon candle holdersyou the greatest instructions but it doesn’t look too difficult.

Here is the info from Better Homes and Gardens page:

“Turn simple glass votive holders into mini works of art with alternating strips of ribbon. Attach the ribbons with decoupage medium, layering ribbons as desired.”

That be it! I think this is one project I might give a try. What perfect hand made gifts these will make along with scented votives in an array of fragrances. Too cute!

Happy candle crafting!

My name is Christina, editor of Candlefind.com. My love of candles began around 2003 and it was love from then on. The way candles enhance my mood and create ambiance throughout my home became addicting. I love to shop on all sites from big name brands to small mom and pop shops as well. I love it all. My favorite scents are bakery, everything lemon scented and all types of fruit scents. But, I'm open to anything given the opportunity. I hope my reviews and opinions help you along your way to finding the best candles!

  1. Looks nice. Not sure I have the patience for this, though.
