Candle Spotlight – S’mores Galore Bakery Scented Candle from Candles by Victoria

There’s nothing like showcasing a candle you’d most likely eat if it were real.

S’mores Galore from Candles by Victoria is our feature candle of the week. I couldn’t resist this one… It looked so tempting in the picture so I can only imagine what it smells like in person.  I’m a bakery lover (to the core) and figured it was time to post a spotlight on a delicious bakery scented candle this week. This candle is HUGE at 24oz and priced at $20 which is pretty reasonable. Here is the scent description from Candles by Victoria’s site:

My favorite thing to do when we go camping is to make S’mores, so I thought, what the heck let’s make a S’more candle!! This 24 oz. candle starts with a layer of rich chocolate, followed by a middle layer of crumbed Graham Cracker Crust scented wax, with chunky pieces of chocolate, next comes a layer of our amazing Marshmallow Campfire scent that is hand whipped and finally, the whole thing is topped off with more Graham Cracker Crust crumbs and more pieces of chocolate. This is one YUMMY candle!! Double wicked for a perfect burn every time!”

Does that not sound amazing? Chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers OH MY!!!! And I like that this candle is double wicked. They just tend to burn better in my opinion and that’s ultimately what I’m after in any candle I purchase.

Candles by Victoria has a bazzilion scents to choose from in a wide variety of styles and options so plan on spending hours on this site if you’re tempted to go take a peek. S’mores Galore is just one of probably 500 or more scents to choose from. I am not kidding.

Have you tried any candles from Candles by Victoria? We’d love to know your experience and which scents are your favorite.

  2. I’m not sure where to ask a question so I’ll do so here. Is there any way to lessen the smell of a really strong candle. I have a lilac candle that is so strong I can’t let it burn for more than 15 minutes. I’ve tried putting in my kitchen away from where I sit at night but the smell pervades the whole house quickly. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    • Hi Susan ~ Floral scents are generally *really* strong and room fillers. When I burn floral scents, I have to pulse burn frequencies too. They give me headaches if I don’t. Not sure there is really anything you can do to lessen the strength other than burning that specific candle when all your windows are open. Do you love floral scents?

    • Susan, have you tried putting something like a Yankee Candle Illuma-Lid over it? I’ve done that on various brands of candles and it has tamed some of the stronger scents just a tad. Also try burning it even fewer minutes at a time to see if that helps. Good luck!

  3. Thanks for the help. I don’t usually buy floral scents but this one smelled so good in the jar. I guess I’ll just burn it a little at a time or when I really need to get rid of a strong odor.

  4. This candle looks amazing. The wax embeds look like little chocolate bars reminding me of a hershey bar and are adorable.
