Candle spotlight this week – Library from Lafco
Part of the fun doing spotlights for CandleScoop is searching for candles I would love to try. This candle sounds amazing!! And it’s so pretty with olive green brushed glass. That’s always one aspect I love about luxury candles… the packaging is always exquisite down to the fine detail. Yeah, you pay for it but it sure is pampering even if only a once in awhile treat.
Scent description for Library:
The scent of sweet walnuts are layered on top of roasted chestnuts and clary sage for a warm, familiar fragrance with an exotic twist.
Sounds pretty interesting. I think of a library and it brings to mind crisp books but I’m also thinking of a modern library. I bet the above was created with a different era in mind. Regardless, it sounds interesting and would love to smell it in person.
Fine details on this candles:
- Size: 16 ounces
- Burn time: 90+ hours
- Price: $60.00
Some info on Lafco:
Lafco candles are made with clean burning soy-based wax and 100% natural cotton wick. The House & Home scented soy wax candles are poured in an oversized, hand blown art glass vessel (approx 4” x 4”) that will become a keepsake for generations to come.
I didn’t realize their glass containers are hand blown art glass… how gorgeous and one of a kind. No wonder the price is $60.00 a pop. The vessel alone is expensive.
I am really looking forward to trying a variety of these candles. Candles Off Main is a dangerous place to browse when you love candles as much as I do. This site has every brand you can imagine and a one stop shopping experience which is nice. You can order a variety and it’s all in one place.
Happy candle hunting!
