Candle Spotlight – Homestead & Patisserie from Folky Art Candles

Candle spotlight this week – Homestead & Patisserie candles from Folky Art Candles – an Etsy store

One of my all time favorite pastimes is browsing Etsy stores and sometimes I find some real gems along the way. I love shopping small mom and pop shops and I REALLY love supporting stay at home Moms. I’m one myself and really appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit.folky-art-candles-homestead-patisserie-candles

When I first entered this store, it was all eye candy…  gorgeous labeling with crisp pictures to showcase each candle and fragrance offered. The labels, WOW!! Love!! Can one fall in love with a product based on the labels of a candle? In this case… I think yes. I cannot tell you know much I appreciate when a company puts money into their presentation. As a consumer, it’s pretty important considering I’m buying based *off* presentation. I ended up purchasing two best sellers (featured in this post)  Homestead & Patisserie – which I plan on officially reviewing for Candlefind in the next few months.

Let’s start off with the scent descriptions for these beauties:

Homestead – Warm cinnamon, butter, and vanilla combine with the deliciousdried fruit notes of apple, plum, and orange! This candle will fill your home with so much coziness! A favorite among long time customers who choose it as their signature home fragrance.

Patisserie – My own special blend of almond extract, rich butter and cane sugar, finished off with delicious spicy cinnamon. A fragrance that you will not find anywhere else and also one of my most popular fragrances since 1999. This is a super strong fragrance that will fill your home with yummy.

folky-art-candles-homesteadCold sniff… both smell pretty awesome and I’m really looking forward to reviewing these. Folky Art Candles have a warm country feel to them… below are more details on these candles:

  • Size: 16oz
  • Burn time: 120 hours with proper wick trimming
  • Price: $20.95
  • Shipping: $5.95 flat rate no matter how big your order is

On a side note… I ended up joining Folky Art’s Facebook page and I don’t know what I like more…  the pictures of her candles, the sales she posts or the endless dessert recipes the owner April constantly posts. Talk about drool worthy… I’ve made a few dishes myself based off her recommendations so should you join her Facebook page… be prepared to drool and gain a few pounds!
