Rating Breakdown:

  • Packaging/Presentation: I love all the jars in the It Happened One Night candle collection. This particular candle had confetti wrapped around half the jar with a yellow ribbon. The black gift tag had the scent name written in all caps. Very elegant and festive. The wax was a light golden yellow color. The wicks were well placed. The lid was a gold color and had an embossed pattern. 5/5
  • Scent: This was a great fruity type of scent. It reminded me mostly of the nectar of a nectarine. Also just a little bit peachy. This scent was bubbly and sweet (but not cloying). Delicious! 4.5/5
  • Scent Throw: The scent throw was fabulous on this candle. It was really too strong for the powder room. It fit in well in the laundry room – it filled that space well and even beyond the door. In the large, open living space the candle scented the area well. I could smell it well in that area without it being overpowering or too much. 4.5/5
  • Performance: I had a great burn with this candle. I obtained a full wax melt pool in no time. The flames were big and manageable. This candle did burn fast – I got approximately 26 hours of burn time with this one. 4/5
  • Customer Service (if applicable): Excellent. No problems. 5/5
  • Overall rating: 4.5/5 (Technically 4.6 but rounded down for the fast burn time.)

Disclosures: None. I purchased this product myself.

Happy candle burning ~

  1. This entire line of candles from B&BW is really pretty. I’ve been pretty happy with almost all of the ones I’ve purchased. Champagne is not a scent I normally purchase. To me, it has a sour scent to it. I’m glad this one was a good one.

    • I had great fun with this entire collection. I’ve never detected sour notes to my nose when burning/melting champagne. I’ll be thinking about that next time I have that scent going, LOL.
