Rating Breakdown:

  • Packaging/Presentation: This was a gorgeous candle, box and all. The box was gold with the scent name written in large white letters along the side. Champagne glasses were imprinted on the inside. The candle vessel was so beautiful and festive! It was a shiny gold that reflected light well. This was a single wick candle with white wax. The candle vessel was a great container to keep for trinkets after all the wax was gone. 5/5
  • Scent: This scent was an incredibly complex scent. It was definitely bubbly and fruity – it tickled my nose. The pink grapefruit was tart and constant while other scents seemed to weave in and out. It also had an element of sweetness and a fresh zip. Ooooh my goodness, it was so good! I just loved this scent. 5/5
  • Scent Throw: Great scent throw for a smaller sized candle. It completely filled the powder room and the laundry room. It crept past those closed doors. When I had it in my large open living space, it scented that area of my home well. I didn’t smell it all throughout the lower level but certainly the front part of my home. If I was going to use it to scent for a party/gathering, I would probably use two of these candles at a time. 4.5/5
  • Performance: I had no performance issues with this candle. I got a full wax melt pool in a very short period of time. The candle had a clean burn and I had no rim of wax left behind. It was well scented throughout the life of the candle. I got approximately 35 hours of burn time with this candle. 4.5/5
  • Customer Service (if applicable): I had excellent CS. Fast shipping and everything was well packaged. 5/5
  • Overall rating: 5/5 (Technically 4.8 but rounding up because this is such a great candle.)

Disclosures: None. I purchased this product myself.

  3. I love the Jonathan Adler Champagne candle! I’m a huge fan of champagne scents and I think he did a great job with this version. It’s not heavy or too sweet like some others. I love the light, bubbly effervescent fragrance. This candle layers really well with other fragrances as well, like other citrus, fruity or floral fragrances.
