Candle Company Center Stage: Vera Wang

Of course you’ve heard of Vera Wang wedding dresses. Perhaps you’ve heard of Vera Wang shoes, jewelry and more. But did you know about Vera Wang candles? Oh yes…there are candles. Ms. Wang teamed up with fragrance guru Laura Slatkin (of NEST Fragrances) to come up with the signature fragrance Floral Bouquet (An elegant bouquet of lily of the valley, gardenia, and blossoming damask rose in hand-wrapped in leafy greens and watery nuances).

The votive candles are the most affordable in the line and is 2.5 ounces of fragranced bliss that will burn for approximately 20 hours. The boudoir candles are slightly larger (at 4 ounces) and are slated to burn for 25 hours. The classic candle is 9 vera-wang-classic-candleounces in size and is reported to burn for 60 hours. All three of these candle styles are the heavy glass jars with a beautiful Vera Wang monogram on display.

The keepsake jewelry box candle is simply adorable and perfect for bridesmaids’ gifts. It comes in a silver plated jewelry box, complete with the love knot on top. Once the candle has burned away, the recipients can keep the vessel as a jewelry box. This candle is 9.5 ounces and will give 60 hours of burn time enjoyment.

This large candle is over 20 ounces and has a burn time of over 150 hours. The silver plated ice bucket can be used once all the candle wax is gone. What a beautiful centerpiece this candle makes!

All of the Vera Wang candles are a soy/paraffin blend and include the Floral Bouquet  fragrance, building off of it. These candles can be found many places these days. Look on Amazon.com, Macys, Bed Bath & Beyond, and even eBay.

Happy candle burning ~

  1. Wow Vera Wang Candles!! Well why not? As you mentioned she has wedding dresses, a clothing and shoe line, fine china etc. If Laura Slatkin is involved it’s for sure a winner! After all Laura and her husband were I believe the original starters of the wonderful Bath and Body Works candle lines!! I’ve done a little research of my own.
