Candle Company Center Stage: Elida Candle Company

Today let’s shine the candle spotlight on Elida Candle Company…a small business soy candle company based in Elida, Ohio.

Elida Candle Company sells soy candles in various shapes and sizes. You can purchase an 8 ounce travel tin or mason jar, a 16 ounce apothecary jar or canning jar, or a 26 ounce apothecary style jar. Elida Candle Company also offers the elida-candle-company-webcurrently popular wine bottle candles. These wine bottle candles can be purchased either labeled or unlabeled.

Wax melts are available in clamshell style. I also like the other selection of home fragrance products – scented oils, sachets, potpourri pebbles, and room/linen sprays. I love the look of the sprays – very sleek. There are some very pretty wax warmers and plug in warmers to boot!

The scent list is a decent size – not minimal, but not too much to overwhelm either. You can find commonplace scents such as Fruit Slices (A mouthwatering array of candied citrus fruits of grapefruit) and Pumpkin Pie (Smells like pumpkin, spices, and a touch of vanilla whipped cream. It is incredibly strong and true). There are also some more off the beaten path scents such as Sun Shower (Smells like summer! Top notes of lily and citrus supported by a clean powdery base) and Cranberry Mandarin (This scent blends top notes of orange nuances, juicy cranberry, and mandarin essences with middle notes of floral accents, sweet rose, ripe berries, cranberry mango blossom, and strawberries into a base of vanilla and musky notes).
