Box Opening: Soapsy, Grand Opening Order

I’ve been spending way too much time on the internet lately…especially on Etsy. I can find all sorts of things I must have. And in my opinion, one can never have too much soap. Enter Soapsy and their Grand Opening Sale. 50% off you say??? I was all in! The huge glycerin bar soaps were listed as 5-5.5oz in weight and only for 2 bucks a piece! Everything arrived super fast and she packaged everything well. Really well. There was bubble wrap around all of my soaps and then each soap was individually bubble wrapped and then tucked inside an organza gift bag. Each soap came with an info card, too, that listed all the ingredients.

Iced Grapefruit Cookie: Bursts of juicy pomelo and grapefruit complement a zesty additional of yuzu peel which transforms the aroma to a luscious goodness baked with vanilla crème and sugar. This is delicious! Very unique kind of scent. The sweet/tart grapefruit is predominate but there is definitely a buttery cookie note in the background. Love!

Nantucket Briar: A beautiful light musk with subtle floral undertones of bergamot, rose and fresh greenery. My favorite of the bunch. This one is so fresh, so clean, so green…it’s wonderful! It smells perfect for a shower.

Apple Caramel Crunch: is a sweet favorite of juicy apple, sweet caramel, a hint of cinnamon and topped with brown sugar. This one is OK to me. It smells mostly of a green apple and even that is on the lighter side. Not much caramel or cinnamon I smell on cold sniff.

I also bought a leaf shaped soap (for Fall!) scented in Pumpkin Crunch. The Pumpkin Crunch soap was only $1.50. Included in my package was a sample soap, Gingerbread.

Gingerbread: A perfect holiday treat! A richly spiced gingerbread with just the right hint of sweetness. This smells just like a slice of gingerbread. It has a light scent but it smells good.

Pumpkin Crunch: Blend of pumpkin, carrot, cinnamon, clove, and rum. This is a spicy, candy like pumpkin that makes your mouth water. This is a spicy pumpkin scent, for sure. I smell mostly pumpkin and the cinnamon/clove. This is not a bakery scent and I didn’t detect any sweetness in it. I do like it, though!

  1. Iced grapefruit sounds amazing. I love handmade soaps as much as I love candles – this looks like a great shop to try out!
