I have been really pleased with the Spring/Summer candles from Bath & Body Works, that I was thrilled to see another 2 for $20 sale going on. I saw a bunch of Fall candles that I
wanted needed, so I dove right in and snagged a few. Nothing was broken this go-around…thrilled!

Blueberry Pumpkin Patch: Blueberries fresh from the farm are the perfect match for ripe pumpkins in this delicious autumn blend. Not so crazy about this one on cold sniff. I smell mostly pumpkin with an overlay of blueberry. I think this could have used a hint of sweetness.
Autumn: A crisp fall fragrance that blends dark pomegranate and the red delicious apple, with notes of fir balsam and rich cedarwood. Mmmmm – this is fantastic! I smell the apples blended with the cedarwood. It’s not a strong cold throw but it is fantastic. I can’t wait to burn this one!
Harvest Coffee: Relax with this rich, robust blend of roasted coffee beans topped off by creamy vanilla foam. Oh my – I’m not a huge fan of coffee scents, but this one is wonderful! It’s deep and rich and chocolately, not harsh at all. Strong cold throw.
Middle row, left to right:
Pumpkin Caramel Latte: Gather with friends and celebrate the season with this warm, rich blend of creamy pumpkin, spiced caramel and sweet cream. This is divine. It is sweet but not too sweet. Rich and buttery. It has a moderate cold throw and I almost want to lick the top of the candle!
Pumpkin Pecan Waffles: Delight in the scrumptious scent of pumpkin pecan waffles, pure maple syrup and a touch of brown sugar. Another score! This one makes me hungry. It’s a heavier scent than Pumpkin Caramel Latte. I’m smelling the waffle batter and the sweet syrupy goodness on top. This is stronger on cold sniff than PCL.
Black Pepper Bergamot: Intricate layers of spicy black pepper combine with uplifting bergamot and lavender in a fragrance inspired bu fall’s changeable days. I’ve been eyeing this one for a long time. It’s ok on cold sniff. It is kind of masculine to me but I definitely pick out the lavender. I thought the black pepper would be more prominent. Maybe once it’s burned.
Apple Ale: Refresh yourself on a fall day with an effervescent blend of autumn apples, brown sugar and cinnamon bark. This is one of my favorites on cold sniff. It smells just like the insides of a hot apple pie! This has a great cold throw.
Bottom row, left to right:
Leaves (B&BW Home): Celebrate the brilliant colors of autumn with this rich blend of golden nectar, red apple and spiced berries. I wanted to try all three versions of Leaves at B&BW. We’ll call it research. This one is really nice – I smell some sweetness with hints of apple and a good blend of spices.
Japanese Cherry Blossom: Rare Japanese cherry blossom with Asian pear, mimosa petals and cedarwood. I love the JCP fragrance in bath & body, so I wanted to try the candle. So far, I’m not impressed. It’s a little perfumey and powdery. Nice cold throw, though.
Leaves (White Barn): A fragrance that embodies the richness of fall – with all of its colors and pleasures – featuring notes of golden nectar, ripe delicious apple and red berries. This one seems a bit heavier on the spice. I don’t really smell much sweetness. The cold throw is a little lighter.
Leaves (Slatkin): Celebrate the brilliant colors of autumn with this rich blend of golden nectar, red apple and berries. This one is heavier on the sweet apple. I note less of the spiciness and I notice that’s not really mentioned in this scent description. It has a stronger scent throw than the other two, but it’s still not super strong.
Pumpkin Cupcake: Satisfy your sweet tooth with the scent of a freshly baked pumpkin cupcake covered in loads of rich buttercream frosting. I’m not as crazy about this one as I thought I would be. The vanilla smells kinda fake. I do smell some spiced pumpkin but that vanilla predominates. Moderately strong cold throw.
Overall I’m very pleased. Now it’s time to get burning!
Happy candle burning ~
