The (Almost) A To Z Guide to Luxurious Candles for Christmas Gifting: Part 2

We’re back with more suggestions for your holiday shopping season. If you missed Part 1 of our luxurious candle gifting guide, be sure to check it out here!

Now on to the rest of our guide…

N – Neom

If you are looking for luxurious candles, be sure to make a pit stop at Neom Luxury Organics. These candles can be found on just about every “Best of” candle list there is. Shop for Tranquility (English Lavender with Sweet Basil & Jasmine. Unmistakable lavender, but with a fresh twist. English lavender is typically a little cleaner smelling than French and coupled with a clean Basil and a pretty jasmine this is a heavenly relaxing scent) or Inspiration (A light and pretty scent that will make you feel inspired, confident and motivated).

O – Origins

Though limited in the scents they offer, you’re sure to score a hit with any one of these candle choices from Origins. We suggest the Stress Diffusing Candle (Relax as the calming powers of fresh Peppermint plus sweet Basil and Vanilla diffuse the stress of the day) or the Keep Calm Candle (Let lush Lavender plus refreshing Rosemary and Jasmine do a scent-sational job at calming your senses).

P – Pacifica

Pacifica, makers of fine perfumery, are also creators of some complex and beautifully scented candles. We recommend Thai Lemongrass (bright notes of grassy lemon intermingle with ginger and sit atop slightly spicy and earthy undertones for a warm, exotic and fresh fragrance) or Nerola Orange Blossom (with intense orange blossom and petitgrain, this is an alluring, sweet and spicy floral).

R – Rigaud

Stately and elegant, these fine candles are sure to garner some ooohs and ahhhs. Rigaud Candles are considered the first luxury candles ever created and feature a beautiful silver snuffer lid. Check out Cypres (Top notes: lavender – bergamot; Middle notes: scots pine – hyacinth; Base notes: cedar – oakmoss) or Gardenia (Top notes: essence of galbanum; Middle notes: gardenia – provence rose; Base notes: cedar – musk).

S – Seda France

No gift wrapping necessary. Simply hand over one of the pagoda candles from Seda France and you are good to go! Be sure to consider Japanese Quince (a piquant fragrance with aspects of rhubarb, passion fruit and white fleshed peach over a heart of white jasmine petals) and Elegant Gardenia (Seductive and irresistible, this heady fragrance is enhanced with violet and freesia to make a lasting impression).

T – Tocca

Tocca candles are simply elegant and sophisticated – from the presentation to the scents. There is a nice variety of wonderful scents to choose from, including best-selling Stella (A TOCCA classic, Stella perfectly captures the refreshing and uplifting spirit of the Italian blood orange with its slightly sweet, fresh scent) and my personal favorite Yma (the savory essence of the Peruvian guava fruit combined with the luscious scent of red currant create an intoxicating duet).

U – Unwined Candles

For the candle lover and wine connoisseur, consider Unwined Candles – a candle company that uses recycled wine bottles as a candle vessel. For wonderful but gentle scent fragrances, consider Eastern Amber (A rich base of vanilla, musk, and sandalwood is livened up with subtle hints of jasmine, lavender and orange) and 5 O’Clock Somewhere (Classically tropical pineapple, orange, and cranberry mix perfectly with subtle yet enticing notes of peach schnapps and vodka for a candle that is bold and sweet).

 V – Votivo

Candles from Votivo are a joy to give and receive. Their signature hand-pressed wax seal makes for a distinctive presentation and the rich, complex scents are sure to please. We recommend Red Currant (A savory blend of tart red currants and golden fruit glaze ladled over coarsely ground vanilla bean ice cream and served along side of raspberry filled sugar cookies) or Teak (An aromatic blend of coarsely chopped dried herbs and forest floor earthen moss blended with an intoxicating masculine scent of moist skin fresh from a shower,Teak is a wood inspired fragrance designed to fill a room with exotic taste and lingering flavors of opportunities gone by and sensual dreams to come).

W – Welcome Home Candles

While Welcome Home Candles is the home of the Ultimate Luxury Candle (retail $6,495), there are many much more affordable candles in this luxurious line. Consider Water Lily & Pear (Crisp Pear surrounds a refreshing heart of floral Water Lily for a beautifully balanced fragrance) or Black Bamboo (A luxuriously complex and enticing blend of bamboo, green foliage, amber and herbs).

Y – Yankee Candle

While not exactly considered a luxurious line of candles, there are a wide array of options and something that should be sure to please. For gifting, consider Fresh Cut Roses (An intoxicating English garden of fragrant heirloom roses) or Lemon Lavender (Soothing and sweet lavender comes together with tangy lemon citrus to create a powdery fresh blend that’s clean and inviting).

Z – Zum Glow

You can purchase Zum Glow candles from Indigo Wild, and they make a great gift selection. Whether you choose the tin candles or glass jars, your recipient is sure to be pleased. Consider Lavender (The classic, clean floral scent. Promotes health and relaxation) or Sandalwood-Citrus (A deep aroma, soft and woodsy, with a subtle sweetness and citrus undertones).

There you have it. Our (almost) A-Z guide for gifting luxurious candles this holiday season. We hope we’ve aided you in your gift search, and we hope that you and yours have a wonderful holiday season!

Happy candle burning ~

  1. I love the look of the “Rigaud” Candle. Really sophisticated. Seda candles are packaged so pretty! No gift wrapping needed is right. Almost $6500 for a Welcome Home Candle? I never ever would have imagined candles would cost this much!! Although I LOVE candles I think I would rather have a diamond ring or earrings for this price point!! Yankee is always a favorite company for me. I am a loyal customer.

    • LOL – I know! The $6500 candle does have a diamond necklace inside, so I guess it would be the best of both worlds. 😉
